13-year-old drug trafficker...what's next, an 11-year-old heroin addict?
In Guyana, three men and a juvenile were arrested after 100 grams of ganja were found in a shop they were in. They appeared in the Georgetown Magistrate's Court on a charge of possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking. The 13-year-old girl, along with the two men, pleaded not guilty to the joint charge. The teenager was granted $50,000 bail by Acting Chief Magistrate Cecil Sullivan while the others were remanded to prison. It is alleged that on Friday last, the four had in their possession 140 gram of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking.
