Why Senator Joe Biden is a teetotaler
Although Senator Joe Biden's father was not a heavy drinker, several members of the family of the Senator's mother were alcoholics, as were many Scranton neighbors. Eventually so too was the Senator's younger brother. In reaction, Joe Biden abstains from alcohol entirely. For details, see here.
